About Amy

Amy Warren is an instructional designer specializing in learning design for international development clients. She has designed and developed training for the International Finance Corporation (IFC – World Bank Group), the National Cooperative Business Association CLUSA International (NCBA CLUSA), the Technical Centre for Agricultural and Rural Cooperation (CTA), Coast2Coast Consulting, and the Northwest Cooperative Development Center (NWCDC). She was part of the team that developed and launched IFC’s Agribusiness Leadership Program, a training and coaching program for farmer organization leaders in emerging markets.

Amy creates instructor-led training (classroom), virtual instructor-led training (live online), and self-paced e-learning. She is skilled in turning subject matter expertise into memorable and engaging learning experiences grounded in adult learning theory.

For 15+ years, Amy has brought her strategic thinking, exceptional writing skills, and unmatched attention to detail to employers and clients in the private, non-profit, and international development sectors. She holds an MBA from The George Washington University in Washington, DC and a certificate in Adult Learning and Development from the University of Toronto. An avid public speaker, Amy also earned the Distinguished Toastmaster award from Toastmasters International.
